Anita Sarkeesian is a Canadian-American feminist media critic as well as a public speaker. Feminist Frequency is a website with video and blogs analysing portrayals women in the media and in popular media and popular. Anita Sarkeesian, a Canadian-American blogger and media critic who has been awarded awards for her writing, is a feminist blogger. Feminist Frequency an online platform to educate about gender roles within pop culture, is managed by Sarkeesian. Committed to deconstructing the stereotypes about women and popular culture, she works on issues related specifically to the harassment of women and the other minorities of the Internet area. The ambitious lady planned to launch a web series that would examine gender representation in video games. She found herself at the center of an online harassment campaign. The incident did not deter her, however it did strengthen the determination of feminist media critic. Her numerous contributions to the feminist field were recognized by a variety of prizes.
